COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY THE DRUM As part of London City YMCA, The Drum hosts a range of projects for young people. Counselling at The Drum was set up by the Brandon Centre in 2002, with a grant from the Cripplegate Foundation. In 2004, a grant from EC1 New Deal enabled us to expand the service. The Drum provides counselling and psychotherapy to anyone between the ages of 12-21 who lives, works, goes to school or studies in South Islington. The service is free of charge and is open Wednesday to Friday. The team consists of an administrative secretary and two qualified psychotherapists.
