ABOUT THE BRANDON CENTREUSER PARTICIPATIONThe first time I made contact with the Centre was by phone, the woman I spoke to was very helpful. Then when I actually came to the Centre I found it was very welcoming and friendly and I was given good advice and was treated well." "The help is great. The nurses have good communicating skills and are very well spoken and understanding. They are also very supportive and always helpful." Here are some more of the comments made by the young people who use the Centre: "I found that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, not at all judgemental. I was made to feel very much at ease. All worries seemed to disappear when I entered the Centre for the first time. Every member of staff is helpful and always cheerful. The help that I gain is always to a high standard and they are always capable of explaining what is going on to a high degree." "All the staff I have dealt with have been very pleasant which has made it easier to talk to them and feel comfortable. In the five years I have been coming to the Centre I have not had any bad experiences." "I think the help I am receiving is very good - I always feel comfortable and happy with all the treatment I have ever received. The good thing about the Brandon Centre is that the staff are friendly, they make you feel comfortable and it's confidential." "The help is great. I never need to worry as much as I would usually do when I get advice. The best things that are offered at the Brandon Centre are the leaflets and advice and the talks at school." "The help I have received so far is excellent. Everyone I have spoken to have given direct information and answers to my questions. I was very worried when I had my first appointment but I feel a bit more confident as I have had a lot of support with my problems." "The best things about the Centre are the staff and atmosphere; you are always made welcome by staff. Also you can get an appointment within days, even on the same day!"
